SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY

Last updated: 11 July 2026

Thank you for shopping with RevvedUpGarage.

This Shipping and Delivery Policy explains how we process, dispatch and deliver orders placed through our online store.

Please read this policy before completing your purchase.

1. Delivery area

We currently deliver to physical addresses throughout South Africa.

We do not ordinarily deliver to:

  • P.O. boxes

  • Private bags

  • Addresses outside South Africa

  • Locations that cannot reasonably be accessed by a courier

Delivery to certain remote or outlying areas may take longer or may require an alternative delivery arrangement.

2. Estimated delivery timeframe

Our estimated delivery timeframe is 8–12 business days after:

  • The customer’s payment has been successfully received;

  • The payment has cleared where applicable; and

  • The order has been confirmed.

Business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and South African public holidays.

The 8–12 business day period includes the time required for the products to reach us, be checked, prepared and handed to the courier for final delivery.

The estimated delivery period begins on the first business day after the order and payment have been confirmed.

For example, an order confirmed on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday will begin processing on the next business day.

3. Order fulfilment process

Some products may need to arrive at our fulfilment location before they can be sent to the customer.

Once the products arrive with us, we will:

  1. Check the order and product;

  2. Prepare and package the parcel;

  3. Create the courier shipment;

  4. Hand the parcel to Aramex for final delivery; and

  5. Provide tracking information where available.

We use Aramex as our primary courier for delivery within South Africa.

We may use another reputable courier where Aramex is unavailable, unsuitable for the destination or unable to complete the delivery.

4. Order processing

Orders are processed during normal business days.

Processing may include:

  • Payment verification

  • Product availability confirmation

  • Receiving products at our fulfilment location

  • Quality and quantity checks

  • Packaging

  • Courier booking

  • Dispatch preparation

Customers will be contacted if we require additional information before the order can be processed.

Failure to provide requested information may delay fulfilment.

5. Delivery estimates

The estimated 8–12 business day delivery period is provided in good faith.

Delivery may take longer due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:

  • Courier delays

  • Severe weather

  • Flooding, fires or other natural events

  • Strikes or service interruptions

  • Road closures

  • Public holidays

  • Remote or outlying delivery destinations

  • High seasonal order volumes

  • Supplier or transport delays

  • Customs or import delays, where applicable

  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery details

  • Inability to contact the customer

  • Security or access restrictions at the delivery address

We will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of a material delay.

Nothing in this policy removes any right a customer may have where an order is not delivered within the agreed period or within a reasonable period as required by applicable South African law.

6. Shipping charges

Shipping charges will be displayed during checkout before the customer completes payment.

Shipping fees may be based on:

  • The delivery address

  • Parcel size or weight

  • Courier service availability

  • Remote-area charges

  • Promotional offers

  • The total value of the order

From time to time, we may offer free or discounted delivery.

Any minimum order value, geographic restriction or other condition applicable to a delivery promotion will be displayed on our website.

7. Tracking information

Once the order has been dispatched through Aramex, tracking information will be sent to the customer by email, SMS, WhatsApp or another available communication method.

Tracking information may take up to 24 hours after dispatch to become active on the courier’s system.

Customers should use the tracking details provided to follow the progress of their delivery.

The absence of an immediate tracking update does not necessarily mean that the parcel has not been collected or dispatched.

8. Delivery addresses

Customers are responsible for providing a complete, accurate and accessible physical delivery address.

The delivery information should include:

  • Recipient’s full name

  • Street number and street name

  • Complex, building, estate or unit number

  • Suburb

  • City or town

  • Province

  • Postal code

  • Telephone or mobile number

  • Access instructions where necessary

Customers should check all delivery details carefully before completing an order.

We are not responsible for avoidable delays caused by incorrect, incomplete or outdated information supplied by the customer.

9. Changes to a delivery address

Customers should contact us immediately if they need to correct or change a delivery address.

We will make reasonable efforts to update the address before dispatch.

We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once:

  • The order has been processed;

  • A courier shipment has been created;

  • The parcel has been collected; or

  • The parcel is already in transit.

Additional courier charges resulting from an address change may be payable by the customer where permitted by law.

10. Delivery acceptance

A person should be available at the delivery address to receive the parcel during normal courier delivery hours.

The courier may:

  • Contact the customer before or during delivery;

  • Request the recipient’s name;

  • Request a signature;

  • Record proof of delivery;

  • Deliver to a receptionist, security officer or another person reasonably present at the address; or

  • Follow reasonable access instructions supplied by the customer.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery location is reasonably accessible and safe for the courier.

11. Deliveries to complexes, offices and secure estates

For deliveries to:

  • Gated estates

  • Apartment buildings

  • Office parks

  • Shopping centres

  • Schools

  • Hospitals

  • Government buildings

  • Security-controlled premises

the customer must provide all necessary access information.

This may include:

  • Unit or office number

  • Access code

  • Reception instructions

  • Security gate details

  • Contact person

  • Suitable delivery point

Where access is denied or delayed, the courier may leave and attempt delivery again.

Additional charges may apply where a failed delivery results from missing or incorrect access information.

12. Failed delivery attempts

A delivery may fail where:

  • No one is available to accept the parcel;

  • The customer cannot be contacted;

  • The address is incomplete or incorrect;

  • The courier cannot gain reasonable access;

  • The recipient refuses delivery;

  • The delivery location is unsafe;

  • Security refuses access; or

  • The customer fails to provide necessary instructions.

The courier may attempt redelivery or return the parcel to a depot or to us.

Where the failed delivery was caused by incorrect information or circumstances within the customer’s control, the customer may be responsible for reasonable redelivery, return or storage costs.

13. Refused deliveries

A customer should not refuse delivery merely because they have changed their mind.

Where a customer wishes to cancel or return an order, they should follow our Refund, Return and Cancellation Policy.

If a correct and undamaged parcel is refused without a valid legal reason, the customer may be responsible for reasonable return and redelivery costs where permitted by law.

Refusing delivery does not automatically result in an immediate refund.

Any refund will be considered after the parcel has been returned, identified and inspected.

14. Risk of loss or damage

The parcel remains at our risk until it is accepted by the customer or by a person authorised to receive it on the customer’s behalf.

If a parcel is lost or damaged while it remains at our risk, we will handle the matter in accordance with applicable South African consumer law.

Once delivery has been accepted, the customer should store and handle the product with reasonable care.

15. Damaged parcels

Customers should inspect the parcel as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If the outer packaging appears:

  • Crushed

  • Torn

  • Wet

  • Opened

  • Resealed

  • Tampered with

  • Punctured

  • Otherwise damaged

the customer should photograph the parcel before opening it.

The customer should then contact us and provide:

  • The order number

  • Photographs of the outer packaging

  • Photographs of the courier label

  • Photographs of the product box

  • Photographs or video of any damaged items

  • A description of the issue

Customers should retain the product and all packaging until the matter has been assessed.

16. Missing items

If an order appears to contain a missing product, accessory or component, the customer should contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

The customer should provide:

  • The order number

  • The product name

  • A description of the missing item

  • Photographs of the received parcel

  • Photographs of the packaging and contents

  • Any applicable parts-list or instruction-manual reference

Building block sets may contain many individual components. Customers should check the contents against the instruction manual or parts list before reporting missing pieces.

Missing components will be handled in accordance with our Refund, Return and Cancellation Policy and applicable law.

17. Incorrect orders

If the customer receives a product that is materially different from the product ordered, they should contact us promptly.

The customer should not assemble, use or alter an incorrect product after discovering the error.

Where the incorrect product was supplied by us, we will arrange an appropriate collection, replacement or refund in accordance with applicable law.

18. Delivery delays

If an order has not arrived within 12 business days, the customer should contact us so that we can investigate.

When reporting a delay, the customer should provide:

  • Their full name

  • Order number

  • Delivery address

  • Contact number

  • Tracking number, if available

We will check the order status and, where necessary, raise an enquiry with Aramex or the relevant courier.

A parcel being delayed does not automatically mean that it has been lost.

However, if we cannot deliver within the agreed period or a reasonable period, the customer may exercise any rights available under applicable South African law.

19. Lost parcels

A parcel will not be regarded as lost merely because tracking has not updated for a short period.

We may first conduct an investigation with Aramex or the relevant courier.

If the parcel is confirmed as lost while it remains at our risk, we will offer an appropriate replacement or refund in accordance with applicable law and the customer’s applicable rights.

The customer will not be required to bear the cost of a parcel that is confirmed as lost before delivery.

20. Supplier and fulfilment delays

Where products must first reach our fulfilment location before being handed to Aramex, delays may occasionally occur before final dispatch.

We will make reasonable efforts to manage supplier and fulfilment delays within the advertised 8–12 business day period.

If a product becomes unavailable or cannot be supplied within the agreed period, we will contact the customer and provide the options required by applicable law, which may include:

  • Waiting for the product;

  • Selecting an available alternative; or

  • Cancelling the affected order for a refund.

A customer will not be forced to accept a substitute product without agreement.

21. Split deliveries

Where an order contains multiple products, we may deliver the products in separate parcels where reasonably necessary.

The customer will not be charged additional shipping fees for a split delivery unless the customer specifically requests a separate delivery arrangement that results in additional costs.

Where an order is split, separate tracking numbers may be supplied.

22. Pre-orders and special orders

Pre-order, back-order, personalised and special-order products may have delivery periods different from the normal 8–12 business day estimate.

The expected timeframe will be disclosed on the product page or communicated to the customer before the order is accepted.

Any timeframe specifically agreed for a pre-order or special order will apply instead of the normal estimate.

23. Public holidays and promotional periods

Order processing and delivery may take longer during:

  • Black Friday

  • December and January holiday periods

  • Public holidays

  • Major promotions

  • Product launches

  • Courier peak periods

Where possible, any extended estimate will be shown on the website or communicated to affected customers.

24. Courier communications

Aramex or another courier may contact the customer directly regarding:

  • Delivery confirmation

  • Address clarification

  • Access instructions

  • Failed delivery attempts

  • Collection arrangements

  • Delivery rescheduling

Customers should ensure that their contact number remains active and that they respond to legitimate courier communications.

Customers should never provide banking passwords, card PINs or one-time passwords to a courier.

25. Courier tracking information

Courier tracking information is supplied by the courier and may occasionally contain delays, scanning errors or incomplete updates.

We do not control the courier’s tracking platform.

However, we remain responsible for assisting with legitimate delivery concerns and for complying with our obligations under applicable law.

26. Collection option

Where we offer collection, the customer may collect only after receiving confirmation that the order is ready.

The customer may be required to provide:

  • The order number

  • Proof of identity

  • Order-confirmation details

  • Written authorisation where another person is collecting

Collection is not available unless it is specifically offered and confirmed by us.

27. Cancellation before dispatch

A customer may ask to cancel an order before it is dispatched.

We will make reasonable efforts to stop the order, but cancellation cannot be guaranteed once fulfilment or courier processing has begun.

Where an order has already been dispatched, the customer may need to receive it and then follow our Refund, Return and Cancellation Policy.

Nothing in this section limits any statutory cancellation right.

28. Returns

Returns are governed by our separate Refund, Return and Cancellation Policy.

Products must not be sent back to Aramex or to an address shown on a shipping label without first contacting us for return instructions.

The dispatch address may not be the correct return address.

Unauthorised returns may be delayed because we may be unable to identify or receive them correctly.

29. Limitation of this policy

Nothing in this Shipping and Delivery Policy is intended to:

  • Exclude a right that cannot legally be excluded;

  • Transfer delivery risk to the customer before lawful acceptance;

  • Remove the customer’s rights regarding non-delivery;

  • Avoid liability for defective, damaged, incorrect or unsafe goods;

  • Permit unreasonable delivery delays; or

  • Override applicable South African consumer-protection law.

If this policy conflicts with a mandatory legal right, the law will take precedence.
